The need for properly fitting clothing is what propelled me to begin Silvan Threads in the first place. My designs are based off a silhouette that offers generous room in the shoulders, biceps and hips while gently hugging your natural shape in the bust and waist. Sleeves are cut long (scrunching is encouraged). The flexibility and closeness of the fit varies form batch to batch, so check the description on the specific garment you're interested in and please feel free to reach out if you still have questions. 

 

Silvan Threads is designed in a way that seems to work well for most people, but everyone is different and I believe that it's the clothing's purpose to fit us. A number of pieces can be altered easily enough for me to offer minor alterations free of charge. This would apply to things like shortening the hem or sleeves, taking in the waist or bust. It will be mentioned in the description on each listing if alteration is possible on a specific garment. If you're curious about how a specific piece will fit you or what alterations would be possible, please check with me before purchasing. Fabrics behave very differently from one another, so whether alteration is needed will vary greatly from batch to batch.
